Perrey Reeves talks about end of Entourage...

My beautiful sister in law, Perrey Reeves aka Mrs. Ari talks about the last day of filming the beloved HBO series Entourage.  Yes the final episode aired last Sunday:(  Congratulations on the 8 seasons of an amazing television series Perrey!!!  I'm very proud of you and know you'll go on to do even more amazing things!  What do you think bloggies...are you going to miss ENTOURAGE too???

Garance Dore on FNO!

Last night was sheer awesomeness!  It reminded me why we moved to NYC and why this city is like no other. We went to the 3.1. Philip Lim FNO party of Mercer Street....the line was so long and of course I forgot to RSVP...whaaaaaat?  Thanks to Matthew (the sweet sales person who knows me from my frequent visits and droolings:) he walked us right it...SCORE!

Once inside it felt like a little fashion dream, all the it girls (Marina Munoz, Stevie Dance, and Diana Lunt) were there behind the bar making funky drinks. I was most excited about Garance Dore also being there.  Garance is the queen of fashion blogging, a true inspiration. Check out her blog for more pictures from the night. Later on we went to see her work at PHAIDON and guess who's hand I got to shake?  Yup Garance herself!!!  Scott the SARTORIALIST was there too but the girl had me star struck.  I really hope she's writing a book...she's an incredible writer, illustrator, and such an inspiration.
SOOOOOOO FUN!  Thanks to my hubby for coming out with me....let's do it again soon:)

FASHION NIGHT OUT...

So even though it was too late to be a part of FNO once my lazy butt got around to it, I'm kind of excited I'll get to check out the events in my hood instead!  Nathaniel and I got a babysitter (thank you Elinor!) and we are going out on date night cruzing the streets of SOHO. First we are going to have drinks at Philip's then off to see Garance's exhibit and then see Alexander Wang's freak talent show.  Will I see you there?  What are you doing tonight to support this FASHION WORLD?!?!

LABOR...

Happy Labor Day bloggies!  I have a funny take on today's holiday...  a bunch of friends of mine are on the verge of labor..HA!  It's a lot of work and I wanted to write this blog in honor of these super ladies and the miracle they are about to experience. I can't wait to meet their little fruits of LABOR..:) I love you ladies!!!

Susan Lane Steiner who recently had twin boys, Chapel and Lane...love the names and can't wait to meet them.  Mary Tanis, who just gave birth to a beautiful girl Caroline.  Katie Detzel who is preparing for labor very soon ( we don't know if it's a boy or girl).  Chassity Evans of Look Linger Love who is having a boy by the end of this year.  And last but not least...Rachelle Shapiro who just found out she's having a girl!!!
 I can't help but look at more baby things these days and here are pretty things I'm obsessing about...watch out little ones Auntie Marysia is coming to SPOIL!!!

As promised here are some party pic...ofcourse i only took picture of two guests ( Kelli and Alison) and the rest of the time I was busy eating sushi Nathaniel prepared and drinking champagne with my mama...that's her with the big curly hair...i know NO FAIR.....i got sticks for hair but it's all good.  It was a fun day at our new studio in NYC.  Thank you for coming and celebrating with us.

Opening party...

We are having our Opening Party today for everyone who helps us run this joint! From Press to Friends!
