Marysia SWIM team is very happy today that we found our TIKI bottoms on the COVER of SHAPE MAGAZINE's may issue...on the legend Mariah Carey!  It's proof that this suit looks great on all body shapes. Remember the New York Magazine's photo of Virgine Clarins...she's a skinny long lady!  Aimee Song from Song of Style blog She's skinny with curves!  Mariah looks beautiful after having twins!!!  The second image from the inside the magazine shows how TIKI works and can be folded down. ATHENS, GA show today...

Hello Pretty Peaches!  

Jane and are on our way to Athens, GA today for a trunkshow hosted by two talented ladies...

Amy Flurry and Tami Ramsay.  The event will take place in the newly re designed home of Tami Ramsay, who is an interior and floral designer!  I can't wait to see her home and the flowers:)  Amy Flurry taught me alot about PR the first time I visited Athens, GA for her DIY PR class.  She  recently released her book about all the PRESS needs for small business owners and startups.  I am going to buy some for your lucky people in my life who need a little help in the PR department....

New York Magazine Press...

I'm so so excited about the new press our TIKI got!  In the SPRING FASHION issue to boot!!!  These Clarins girls are the "IT GIRLS" and I'm happy to see Virginie in my swimsuit next to her sister and cuzins in Michael Kors and Prada....not a bad company to be in ... right?

I'm so excited to share the pictures that appeared on SONG OF STYLE blog, written by the stunning Aimee Song from California.  If you don't already follow her blog go check it out because you are the only one who isn't... hehe She made our TIKI bottoms look killer! I think I'm going to print this out for inspiration.... After my detox diet we went to Miami and I had too many yummy things and so I feel like I'm back to square one but now that I'm home again I can go back to the healthy eating.  I will write about Miami and Detox soon..stay tuned:)   Thank you Aimee, you are so wonderful and I can't wait to meet soon:) Now who else is printing this out and hanging on the fridge?  xoxo-Marysia

Things I'm Thankful for/ gift of press

We are two days away from Thanksgiving, so thanks we must give!  I'm thankful for the chairs that arrived yesterday so my family has something to sit on at the table of feast!   No but seriously...there is sooooo much I have to be thankful for and I won't bore you with all the names of people but I do have a nice little thing to share and a nice little person to THANK!  Her name is Amy Flurry...She taught me how to do my own Public Relations. With 18 year of experience in freelance writing, contributing, producing articles for top national magazines and online publications she knew the editors take on PR.  Later she started her own business... Paper Cut Project....so this gave her the other side's view and the need for Press.  She knew both sides so she started to teach these PR seminars out of Athens, GA.  Amy's seminars became a huge hit but she saw a larger audience in need that she wasn't reaching and so she wrote us a book...THANK YOU AMY!!!

Go on buy one for yourself and one for your friend who has their own business and needs press for success!  I learned so much and have been doing my own pr for 2 years now...and have you seen my PRESS PAGE?  just saying...

Not to take anything away from the girls at LEAPFROG PR, who helped me start and also tough me alot along the way...I'm not sure I'll be taking *smack now with out their help for the first two years.  Either way you go about it Amy's book is an awesome tool and there is always more to learn and more press to get.  If you do it yourself you must know it, if you pay someone to do it for you , you must know what to expect.

LUCKY...

Have you seen LUCKY MAGAZINE NOV ISSUE?  Well if you get your hands on it..watch out!  There is a Reeves family overload in a Special Advertising for VERIZON'S new phone the HTC RHYME!  Have you see the TV commercial for it?  Sometimes I wish I had 6 arms:) We were chosen by Verizon to star in their new Special Advertising Section for a girly phone HTC RHYME and share all about our business, website and blog!  Perhaps some of you reading this have found us through the magazine..if so WELCOME and thanks for visiting:)  This was my first modeling experience and let me just tell you...NOT EASY!  Bending down on my knees for what felt like an hour... while my child bounced off a tilted surfboard, the wood floor burning my knees, legs shaking while holding the phone at the right height with the screen showing, sucking it in, smiling........that was the hardest shot but really made me realize that modeling is hard work!  I'm going to be much more aware of what I put my models through....HA  at least I didn't have to wear a swimsuit!
